I’ve got rid of the corn starch in the marinade – doesn’t add anything to the flavour and just makes it hard to cook the meat [sticks to the wok]

Ingredients
- beef - thinly sliced flank
- fish sauce
- sugar
- salt
- pepper
- onion
- nuoc cham
- vermicelli
- lettuce
- cucumber
- roasted peanuts
- bean sprouts
- pickled grated carrot [or plain]
Directions

marinate beef in fish sauce sugar salt pepper corn starch mixed with water

saute sliced onion and add beef

soak vermicelli in hot water for 20-30 mins

put ingredients in bowls

serve with nuoc cham separate
