Microwave Bread and Butter Pickles

Ingredients
- 2 to 2 1/2 cups sliced peeled cucumbers
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. whole mustard seed
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
Directions
- In a 2- quart microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients, cover and microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes or until cucumbers

are crisp-tender, stirring twice. Ladle into glass jars or plastic storage containers and refrigerate up to 1 month.
