Pickled Cucumbers

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tp. white pepper
  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley or dill

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, mix first 4 ingredients and 2 Tbsp. water; bring to boil. Cool. Wash cucumbers, partially peel and slice thin. Put in serving dish and add vinegar mixture. Sprinkle with parsley. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving. Serve with liver pate or other meats.
