Ingredients
- 1 can (1 lb.) diced beets
- 1/2 cup drained pickled onions
- 1/2 cup beet liquor
- 1/4 cup vinegar from pickled onions
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 5 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 drops Sweeta
Directions
- Drain beets, saving liquor. Combine beets and pickled onions. Combine beet liquor, vinegar from onions, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cloves and bay leaf; bring to a boil; boil 3 minutes. Stir in Sweeta. Pour over beets and onions. Chill several hours or overnight.
