Pickled Beets

Ingredients

  • 1 can (1 lb.) diced beets
  • 1/2 cup drained pickled onions
  • 1/2 cup beet liquor
  • 1/4 cup vinegar from pickled onions
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 drops Sweeta

Directions

  1. Drain beets, saving liquor. Combine beets and pickled onions. Combine beet liquor, vinegar from onions, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cloves and bay leaf; bring to a boil; boil 3 minutes. Stir in Sweeta. Pour over beets and onions. Chill several hours or overnight.
