Canned Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 quarts of apples, sliced and prepared
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Peel, core and slice apples. Place in large bowl, alternating apples and sugar until filled. Cover and pack in canning jars. Process jars for 20 minutes in hot water bath. Apples can be eaten as they are, or for use in pies or other recipes. They taste as fresh as the day you canned them.

  2. makes about 1 quart

  3. Doubling or even tripling this recipe will still product the same results.
