Ingredients

  • 1 quart currant
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Stem and wash currants. Combine sugar and water and heat to boiling, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Boil rapidly for 5 minutes. Add currants and boil rapidly for 15 minutes. Pour into clean hot jars and seal.
  2. makes 3 half-pint jars
