Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c flour
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 2 tbs. unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 2 tbs. butter or margarine (melted)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa
  • dash salt
  • 1 1/3 heated water

Directions

  1. Cake:

  2. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

  3. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla.

  4. Spread batter in ungreased 9" round pan.

  5. Sugar mixture:

  6. Combine sugar, cocoa, salt. Mix well.

  7. Sprinkle mixture evenly over cake batter.

  8. Pour hot water over sugar mixture

  9. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes.

  10. Serve warm.
