Peacan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 c light corn syrup
  • 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c (1 stick) unsalted butter melted
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c pecan halves

Directions

  1. Prepare pastry as directed.

  2. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, salt and vanilla. Mix well.

  3. In 2nd bowl, lightly beat eggs. Stir into the sugar mixture. Mix well. Put into crust.

  4. Sprinkle pecan halves on top of filling.

  5. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
