Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cans (1 lb. each) sliced peaches, well drained
- 1/3 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soft butter
- Dash cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour, salt and nutmeg iin a bowl. Mix well. Add sour cream, egg and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Stir in peaches. Spoon into a lightly greased, 9-inch pie plate. Bake to 350 degrees, and bake 30 minutes longer or until set.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Cut in with a pastry blender or two knives, until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Remove peach mixture from oven. Top with brown- sugar mixture. Increase heat to 400 degrees, and bake for 10 minutes longer or until done.
