Aileen’s Orange Marmalade

Nice breakfast marmalade

Cook time: 90 minutes

Ingredients
- 4 large oranges
- 2 lemons
- 9 cups water
- 2 Kg sugar
- small knob butter
Directions

Thinly slice washed fruit.

Place in large saucepan, along with the water and stand overnight.

Next day, cook fruit until soft – approx 45 minutes.

Add sugar, stirring well, and boil on medium heat until just set – may take approx 25 minutes.

Pour into sterilised jars, and seal while hot.
