Sweetened Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chilled whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Basic Recipe:

  2. Place a rotary beater and a 1-quart bowl in the refrigerator to shill.
  3. Using chilled bowl and beater, beat chilled whipping cream until soften peaks form.
  4. Beat confectioners’ sugar and vanilla into whipped cream with few final strokes until blended.
  5. Set in refrigerator if not using immediately.
  6. makes about 2 cups

  7. Note; Mixture may be tinted by gently stirring in one or more drops of food coloring.

  8. Mocha Whipped Cream

  9. Follow recipe. Sift 1 tsp. instant coffee with sugar.
  10. Rum Whipped Cream

  11. Follow recipe. Substitute 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. rum or vanilla extract.
  12. Almond Whipped Cream

  13. Blanch sliver and toast 1/2 cup almond and set aside. Follow recipe; substitute 1/4 tsp. almond extract for vanilla extract. Fold the almonds into the whipped cream after blending in the sugar and extract.
