Ingredients
- 12 oz. Bowtie or Gluten Free Pasta
- 1 lb. Italian Sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices (check for Gluten Free)
- 1 Red Onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 1 Yellow Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 Red Pepper, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp. dried Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions

In a stock pot cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.

Return the pot to medium high heat and brown the sausage.

Once the sausage is browned add onion, peppers and cook until softened and sausage is cooked through, 4-6 minutes.

In a small bowl whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

Toss the pasta with the sausage and peppers

Remove from heat

Serve hot topped with parsley (optional)
