Dube Strawberry Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. (3oz. each) Strawberry gelatin
  • 1/4 cup jelly, any red flavor
  • dash of salt
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 pkg. (10oz.) frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Directions

  1. Dissolve gelatin, jelly and salt in boiling water. Set aside 1/2 cup gelatin; add frozen strawberries to remaining gelatin and stir until berries are separated and thawed. Chill until firm.
  2. Blend sour cream with remaining gelatin until smooth. Chill.
  3. Spoon firm gelatin into individual dessert dishes. Beat sour cream mixture until smooth; spoon over gelatin in dishes.
