Ingredients
- 1 pkg. lemon gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 pkg. lime gelatin
- 1 drop oil of peppermint
- 1/2 cup drained crushed canned pineapple
- 1 cup dry cake crumbs
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Directions
- Dissolve lemon gelatin in 1 cup boiling water and chill. Do the same with lime gelatin, adding peppermint with cold water. When lemon gelatin is slightly thickened, fold in pineapple. Pour into shallow pan; chill until firm. Fold cake crumbs into whipped cream and spread on lemon gelatin When lime gelatin is slightly thickened, place in bowl of cracked ice and whip until thick. Pour on cream mixture. Chill until firm, cut into squares.
