Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 5 cups milk
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 large cans evaporated milk

Directions

  1. Beat eggs in large pot. Add sugar and continue beating. Add milk and stir until sugar is dissolved. Place over heat and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat and add vanilla, evaporated milk, and mashed bananas. Place in ice cream freezer and freeze, using 8 parts ice to one part ice cream salt.
  2. Note: Cool before adding vanilla, bananas and milk. Do this by putting in a sink of ice water to speed it up.
