Banana Split

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 1/2-oz.) pkg. chocolate pudding and pie filling
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 bananas, sliced lengthwise
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 4 maraschino cherries, drained

Directions

  1. Prepare pudding with 2 cups milk according to package directions. Cover surface
  2. of pudding with waxed paper or plastic wrap; refrigerate until cool.

  3. Put 1 sliced banana in each of 4 serving dished. Top with 3 scoops of ice cream; cover with 1/4 of pudding; sprinkle with pineapple tidbits and pecans. Garnish with whipped cream and a cherry.
