Ingredients
- 4 cups Marion berries or other blackberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups half and half
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
- Thaw frozen berries if using.
- Puree berries in food processor or blender. Strain to remove seeds. Should make about 2 cups puree.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and chill. Transfer Gerry mixture to ice cream freezer and process according to manufacturer’s instructions.
