Berry Vanilla Bombe

Ingredients

  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 pint berry sorbet
  • Fresh berries or other fruit for garnish

Directions

  1. Let ice cream and sorbet at room temperature until slightly softened, about 10 minutes. Scoop alternately cup measures of ice cream and sorbet into large bowl.
  2. Make 2 swirls of figure 8s with a large metal spoon through ice cream and sorbet, immediately, pour into a 5 to 6-cup mold (or six individual molds) Freeze, covered with plastic wrap, at least 4 hours and up to 2 weeks.
  3. To unmold, dip in bowl of hot water 1 second and invert onto serving plates. Garnish.
