Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened blackberries, fresh or frozen, mashed (see note)
- 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel (optional)
- 3 cups half-and-half
Directions
- in a large bowl, combine blackberries, milk, lemon juice and lemon peel. Stir in half-and-half and mix well. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s directions.

Note: Fresh or frozen and thawed blueberries or raspberries, mashed, may be substituted if desired.
