Chilled Asparagus with Garlic Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 3 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus

Directions

  1. Stir together first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and chill mixture 4 hours.
  2. Snap off tough ends of asparagus; remove scales from stalks with a vegetable peeler; if desired. Arrange asparagus in a steamer basket over oiling water. Cover and steam 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Cover and chill. Serve with garlic sauce.
