Cherry- Pecan Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 14 oz. cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 quart half and half
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Combine sweetened condensed milk, half and half, almond extract and 1/3 cup of cherry juice in ice cream freezer and freeze until firm. After freezing, mix in chopped pecans and 3/4 cup quartered maraschino cherries.
  2. Note: the cherries and juice measurements are roughly equivalent to one 10 oz. jar of maraschino cherries.
