Chocolate-Pecan Frost

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla cookie crumbs
  • Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup sliced maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Mix crumbs with 1/3 cup melted butter; press into bottom of 7 × 11-inch pan. Chill. Cream 1/2 cup butter with sifted confectioners’ sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Spread mixture over crumbs; chill. Mix sugar with cocoa; stir into heavy cream. Whip; fold in pecans, bananas, and cherries. Pile over butter layers; freeze.
