German Potato Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb bacon
  • 1 onion, medium, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 3 lbs potatoes, cooked and sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Saute bacon and cut up

  2. Add onion. Saute til brown.

  3. Remove from heat and remove bacon and onion.

  4. Combine flour, sugar, vinegar, water, salt and pepper into bacon fat in skillet. Cook until thickened.

  5. Add potatoes, bacon and onions and reheat.
