Double Date Sundae

Ingredients

  • 4 slices (1/2 inch thick) date-nut bread
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pt. Butter Pecan Ice Cream
  • 1 jar (9 3/4 oz.) Butterscotch Topping, warmed
  • 4 pecan-stuffed dates, (opt.)

Directions

  1. Spread the date-nut bread slices with softened cream cheese. Place each slice in a shallow dessert dish or compote. Top each with a large scoop of ice cream. Spoon the warm sauce over each scoop. Top, if desired, with a pecan-stuffed date.
