Flambeed Peach Ice Cream Topping

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. slivered almonds
- 3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 2 medium peaches, sliced or 1 can (16 oz.) sliced peaches, drained (1 cup)
- 1/4 cup bourbon, heated (see note)
Directions
- In a skillet or chafing dish over medium heat stir butter, almonds and sugar until hot and bubbly. Stir in peaches and cook about 2 minutes or until heated through. Remove skillet from heat; add bourbon and ignite with long match. When flame dies out, serve hot over vanilla or peach ice cream.
