Fresh Fruit Granita

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cups fresh juice (such as orange, tangerine or grapefruit)
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. Dissolve sugar in water over medium heat to make a simple syrup. Let cool. Stir in juices. Pour into a shallow pan, cover and freeze at least 4 hours. Once frozen, scrape with a fork, to make a “snow” texture.
