Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 quart ripe strawberries, crushed
  • sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups (15oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup light cream or evaporated milk
  • 1 cup cold water

Directions

  1. Sweeten crushed strawberries to taste. Let stand until sugar is dissolved. Mix sweetened condensed milk, cream or evaporated milk and cold water. Add strawberries. Chill. Freeze in 2 -quart freezer. Freeze in ice cream freezer according to manufacturer’s directions.
