Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 12 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- salt to taste
- 4-5 medium yams or sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
Directions
- In an unheated saucepan, combine sugars and cornstarch; blend well. Stir in orange juice, batter and salt. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
- Place yams in a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish; add orange sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
