Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar (divided use)
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 cups pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
- Brown 1 cup of the sugar in a thick skillet. Combine remaining 2 cups sugar, evaporated milk and butter in thick boiler or heavy sauce pan, let come to a boil. Add caramelized sugar, cook until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Add nuts and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Drop onto waxed paper to cool.
