Ingredients
- 5 large eggs, separated
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Pinch salt
- 1 (3oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12oz.) can evaporated milk or 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- Whole milk, as needed
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and beat until granules are dissolved. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add salt, pudding mix, condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla, and heat well. Pour into canister of an ice cream maker, if necessary, add whole milk up to the freezer line. Mix well and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
