Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 1 1/4 cups hot water
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 pie shell, baked
- Whipped cream, optional
Directions
- Dissolve gelatin in 1 1/4 cups hot water. Spoon in ice cream and stir until melted. Place in refrigerator until thickened. Let it set 15-25 minutes.
- Fold in strawberries. Turn filling into baked pie shell. Chill until firm, 30- 60 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
