Ice Cream Parfait Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 1 1/4 cups hot water
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 pie shell, baked
  • Whipped cream, optional

Directions

  1. Dissolve gelatin in 1 1/4 cups hot water. Spoon in ice cream and stir until melted. Place in refrigerator until thickened. Let it set 15-25 minutes.
  2. Fold in strawberries. Turn filling into baked pie shell. Chill until firm, 30- 60 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
