Lee’s Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 0z.) pkg. gelatin (same flavor as fruit used)
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 quart fresh fruit, sweetened
  • Dash salt
  • Homogenized milk

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add sweetened condensed milk, fruit and salt and mix well.
  2. Pour into a 1-gallon ice cream freezer container and fill to fill line with homogenized milk. Taste and add more sugar if needed; mix well to dissolve sugar. Freeze according to freezer manufacturer’s directions.
