Orange Almond-Honey Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp. grated clementine or orange peel
  • 1/2 tsp. coarse sea salt, divided
  • 1/3 cup whole almonds, toasted, coarsely chopped

Directions

  1. Whisk cream, half-and-half, honey clementine peel and 1/4 tsp. of the salt in a large bowl until blended.
  2. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions. Remove from ice cream maker; stir in almonds and remaining 1/4 tsp. salt. Place in covered container, freeze 5 to 6 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
