Peaches and Cream Pops

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sliced fresh or frozen peaches, thawed if using frozen
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 8 paper cups ( 30 to4 oz.)
  • 8 craft sticks

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine peaches and sugar and process until smooth.
  2. Pour about 1 oz. (2 Tbsp.)peach puree into each cup. Freeze 30 minutes or until thickened and slightly firm. using a small scoop, place a generous tablespoon of two of ice cream in cup, then insert sticks. Fill each cup with more peach puree. Return molds to freezer and freeze until solid, about 4 hours.
