Ingredients
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 baked 9-inch pastry shell, chilled
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 cups whipping cream, whipped
Directions
- Spread ice cream evenly in chilled pastry shell; freeze.
- Combine next 6 ingredients, mixing well. Fold in whipping cream. Spread pumpkin mixture evenly over ice cream; freeze pie.
- Remove pie from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
