Ingredients
- 8 oz. dry roasted soybeans (2 cups)
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread roasted soybeans in an even layer in a 15 × 10 x1-inch baking pan. Combine thyme, garlic salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle the soybeans with the thyme mixture. Bake for 5 minutes or just until heated through, shaking pan once. Cool completely. Store up to 1 week at room temperature in an airtight container.

Sweet Chili Soy Snacks: Prepare Herbed Soy Snacks as directed, omitting thyme and pepper, and increasing the garlic salt to 1/2 tsp. of chili powder. Sprinkle mixture over soybeans before baking.
