Frogmore Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. unpeeled, medium-size fresh shrimp
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. turkey kielbasa
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. small new potatoes, quartered
  • 1 Tbsp. salt-free Cajon seasoning
  • 4 cups water
  • 6 frozen small ears corn
  • 3 Tbsp. Kikkoman lite Soy Sauce
  • chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Peel shrimp and devein, if desire. Cut sausage into 1/4-inch slices, and cut each slice into quarters.
  2. Saute sausage and onion in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat 3 minutes. Add potato and Cajun seasoning, stirring to coat. Add 4 cups water and corn.
  3. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 18 minutes. Add shrimp, and cook 2 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Remove from heat; stir in soy sauce. Sprinkle with parsley. Remove corn, and serve on the side.
