Ingredients
- Canola or vegetable oil
- 2 small red onions, finely chopped
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbls Worcestershire
- 1 tbls hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 2 racks pork baby back ribs, cut into 3-4 rib sections
Directions

Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic. Cook and stir until softened and lightly browned. Stir in brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire, hot pepper sauce and chili powder. Simmer gently about 5 minutes. Remove half of sauce and reserve.

Transfer remaining sauce to Crock pot. Add ribs, stirring to coat. Cover and cook on LOW 7-9 hrs. To serve, cut ribs between bones and pass reserved sauce.
