Ingredients
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp minced jalapeno
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups frozen okra
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup diced green pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice
Directions

Heat 2 tbsp oil in skillet over medium. Brown sausage. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate with slotted spoon.

Heat remaining 2 tbsp oil in skillet. Whisk in flour. Cook until flour is dark brown. Add chicken, onions, peppers, celery, jalapeno, and paprika. Cook 7-8 minutes. Transfer to crock pot.

Add sausage, okra, broth and wine. Cover and cook on LOW 7-8 hrs. Serve over rice.
