Eggnog Custard

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 3/4 cup eggnog
  • 2 Tbsp. bourbon
  • 1 Tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • I graham cracker pie crust
  • Garnish: whipped cream, chocolate curls, optional

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl combine eggs with eggnog, bourbon, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until well combined. Pour into crust to within 1/4 inch of rim.
  2. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees, until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
  3. Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and chocolate curls if desired.
