Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 egg
Directions
- Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. In separate dish, blend with a fork the milk, honey and egg. Stir into flour mixture.
- Turn out onto floured board. Knead a few strokes until dough holds together. Pat into 9-inch circle and cut into wedges.
- Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Brush with honey.
