Ingredients
- 1 (16oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. dried crushed red pepper (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
Directions
- Cook first 4 ingredients and, if desired, crushed red pepper in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until reduced to 1 1/4 cups (about 10 minutes). Stir in basil.
