Thyme-Scented Green Beans with Smoked Almonds

Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 Tbsp. light butter
- 1 tsp. dried thyme *
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chopped smoked almonds*
Directions
- Arrange green beans in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 minutes or until crisp-tender.*
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in green beans, thyme, salt and pepper; cook until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle beans with almonds.

- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme may be substituted for the dried thyme, 1 Tbsp. chopped toasted almonds may be substituted for the smoked almonds.
