Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate toffee bits
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt with an electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. Add sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in toffee bits.
- Drop batter by level tablespoons onto prepared pan, or fill a disposable plastic bag with batter and pipe about 1 Tbsp. of batter for each meringue onto pan.
- Bake 40 minutes, or until crisp. Cool on wire rack in pan. Repeat procedure with remaining batter, reusing parchment paper. Store in an airtight container .
