Santa’s Favorite Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 egg
- 4 cups (24oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- In small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- In large mixer bowl beat butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in morsels and pecans.
- Drop by well rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
- Let stand 2 minutes. Remove to rack to cool completely before serving.
