Broiled Blue Chees Romas

Ingredients
- 4 roma (plum) tomatoes, halved lengthwise
- 2 Tbsp. bottled fat-free Italian salad dressing
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 oz. blue cheese (such as Maytag or Gorgonzola), crumbled (1/4 cup)
Directions
- Preheat broiler. Arrange tomatoes, cut sides up, in a shallow baking pan. Brush dressing evenly over cut sided of the tomatoes. Sprinkle with basil, salt and pepper. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 1 minute. Remove pan from broiler and sprinkle tomatoes with cheese. Broil 1 to 2 minutes more, or until cheese just begins to turn golden.
