Quick Caramel Snappers

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (about 200) pecan halves
  • 1 pkg. (14 oz.) light caramels
  • 1 pkg. (6oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Directions

  1. Grease a cookie sheet. Arrange pecans, flat side down, together in groups of four. Place 1 caramel n each cluster of pecans. heat in 325 degree oven, 4 to 8 minutes or until caramels soften. Watch carefully, checking after 5 minutes. Remove from oven and with buttered spatula, flatten caramels over pecans. Cool slightly. Swirl melted chocolate on top. Let sit until chocolate hardens. Store between chocolate on top. Let sit until chocolate hardens. Store between waxed paper.
