Asian Style Cabbage Salad

Very tasty dressing on this salad
Could add grated carrot, finely sliced celery if wished
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients
- 1/4 cabbage, either savoy or chinese cabbage, sliced finely
- 4 spring onions, sliced
- 4 T slivered almonds, toasted
- packet of dried noodles
- 1/4 C white vinegar
- 1/4 C caster sugar
- 1 T soy sauce
- 2 t sesame oil
- 1/2 C olive or rice bran oil
Directions

Place cabbage, spring onions, noodles and almonds in large bowl.

Mix remaining dressing ingredients in a small saucepan, and stir gently over a low heat until sugar dissolves.

Cool dressing mixture.

Pour over tossed salad ingredients.

Serve as a side dish.
