Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1/2 cup semi sweet real chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter-flavored chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 (14oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts
- Crumb Mixture:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats, divided
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a 2-quart saucepan combine all filling ingredients except peanuts. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until chips and butter are melted. Stir in peanuts; set aside.
- In large mixer bowl combine first 6 crumb mixture ingredients. Beat at medium speed until well mixed.
- Reduce speed to low; add flour, 1 1/2 cup oats, baking soda and salt. Continue beating, scraping bowl often. Stir in remaining oats until well mixed.
- Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture. Press remaining mixture on bottom of lightly greased 13 × 9-inch baking pan. Spread filling over crust. Crumble reserved mixture over filling.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool, refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into bars. Serve.
