Ingredients

• 6 cups hot coffee (may be prepared from instant coffee powder)
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 1 clove
• 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
• 1/4 to 1/2 cup white sugar
• whipped cream
• rum flavoring

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, with tight-fitting lid, simmer the coffee, cinnamon sticks, clove, nutmeg and sugar for 2 hours. Pour into cups or mugs; garnish with a dollop of rum-flavored whipping cream.
